The pool, for employers

The people the big schemes could not take.

Apprentice and graduate applicants who got close and are still looking. Filter by discipline, level and area. Free, and approved by hand.

How it works

  1. You ask for access and Scott approves each employer by hand. A webmail address is fine, but expect a question.
  2. You see no names, no contact details and no CVs. You see enough to know whether someone is worth a conversation.
  3. You write a short note in your own words, no links, and the candidate decides. One approach per person, and twenty a day at most.
  4. If they say yes you get their name and email, and their CV if they chose to share it. Reply within a few days either way.
  5. A candidate can report an approach. That pauses your access until Scott has looked.
  6. It is free. Scott asks only that you tell other employers it exists.

If you turn people away

If your scheme has more good applicants than places, you can send the ones you could not take here. Nothing to log in to and nothing to share: you give them a link and they decide. This paragraph goes in your email to them.

We had far more good applications than places this year, and yours was one of them. If you would like other construction and infrastructure employers to know you are looking, the Lechley Community runs a free pool for people in exactly your position. You write your own record, no employer sees your name until you say so, and you can remove it at any time: community.lechley.com/pool
